BatteryDead is a single musician electronic music project by Christian Ahlers founded in the year 2004 focused on chillout music with roots in the amiga demoscene, although I have published only one of my songs in a very little intro. When I got my first computer, a “Commodore Amiga 500” I soon searched for a music software, and with the legendary “soundtracker” I began composing music in 1987. The sound system of the “A500” was stereo 8bit 28khz with 4 polyfonic voices and the cpu worked with only 7MHz clock.
