The group formed in 2022 by Island Records before releasing their debut single, "Cardboard Box", which features on their debut EP titled "The Lead". "Cardboard Box" was released in March 2022, where it gained overnight success thanks to social media. Following their debut single, they released their second single titled "Immature" in July 2022.
