There are at least six musical endeavors catalogued under the name U: (1) a Japanese singer-songwriter, born in Kanagawa Prefecture. After debuting in Sony Records as part of the duo Funta with Yoshimi, she debuted as a solo artist under the name U with her song "Puka Puka", which was the theme song of the "Sweet Legacy" game (in the PC version). She's active as a performer for theme songs of several Frontwing adult games. She's proficient as a songwriter, also providing music for other artists as a lyricist, composer and arranger.
